My Review of The Risk by Skye Jordan
Rugged. Yes, that was a good description. Ruggedly disheveled. Ruggedly handsome. Ruggedly sexy. Ruggedly asinine – she reminded herself.
The Risk by Skye Jordan is Noah and Julia’s love story. Both characters have depth, strength, and humor. Noah Hunt is as sexy as they come, stubborn as a mule, and sweet as candy. Julia is tough, sassy, and doesn’t take crap from anyone.
This is a fun book and perfect for a quiet afternoon of reading. It doesn’t get too heavy, and only has a bit of angst. Filled with fun banter between the characters and steamy romance. The timeline does move quickly, and covers a span of a few months. If you like a full-length story, with interesting characters and a sweet romance – this is your book!
This is my first time reading a novel by Skye Jordan and I’d have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. Her Xtreme Heroes series is one I’ll continue to read.
Sweet, sexy, and filled with hot snowboarders in a scenic locale – The Risk is definitely on this year’s beach read list.
