My Review of Stay by Hilary Wynne
Holy crap! Yet another debut author that now has me stalking her Facebook page!
Meet Alexa. She’s the everyday girl next door with a shoe fetish and deep dark past she’s been trying to run away from, and boy does this girl run! Literally and figuratively. She blames herself for the past, when her boyfriend deceived her in more ways than one. She’s smart and she’s even getting professional help. The only problem with that is she won’t tell anyone the truth about what really happened to her.
She meets Julian at Hotel del Marco. He owns the hotel and they meet in stairwell of club Orion, inside the hotel. Well, let’s say she slams into him and they combust…but she thinks he’ll never go for a girl like her. He’s tall, dark, sexy as hell, and rich. She believes herself to be average, but boy does Julian prove her wrong. He’s out to make Alexa his. They will go through disheartening struggles, a deranged best friend trying to break them apart, and Alexa’s past meeting with her future.
So, this book completely kicked ass! This is like a 400+page book that has you riveted from the very beginning. Yes – this book has a cliffhanger, but you all know me. I stalked her facebook page and she’s been writing book two non-stop!
