Jack seemed to stay relatively quiet throughout the breakup, but things aren’t always as they seem. Jack is ready to tell his side of the story and share insights as to where his head was and why he did the things he did.
My Review
There wasn’t much said about what Jack did during the time he and Chloe were apart and Surrender My Heart was an interesting glimpse at him during that time. This novelette is only 41 pages so it takes no time at all to read, but lets us know what happened and why Jack felt the way that he did when Connor confronted him.
Jack is a strong character and to see him go through the turmoil of his feelings and how he reacted was something that pulled me even more into this story. I really liked Jack’s character in Fall Into My Heart, but this gave me a complete picture.
I still think if characters would just talk to each other there wouldn’t be any conflict, but then we wouldn’t have all these delicious books to read. 😉
