My Review

Hot Sex. Tons of Steam. Lots of Orgasms. The Invitation 2: Surrender by Roxy Sloane is the follow up to The Invitation: Prequel and is part of an erotic serial. Be sure to read my review of The Invitation so you don’t miss a thing. You should definitely read the first book before picking this one up, although this can be read as a stand-alone. Personally, I liked having the character background.

The Invitation was only 50 pages and introduced us to the main characters of Ashton and JJ. The Invitation 2 is 158 pages and takes place three years after the end of the first book. Once close friends, they have not been in touch since their graduation. What happens when they meet again while she’s working her biggest case?

JJ’s in a new city and receiving invitations to “play” – will she let her sexy side come out? Does she even want to play and is she the least bit curious who is sending these invitations? She has a hunch on who it might be, but the games get even more eventful and will she continue to play along and not know who she’s playing with?

Ashton is now a mega-rich CEO and seemingly wants nothing to do with JJ while they are in the boardroom. But is that all a facade?

I’m not going to tell you what happens, but I will tell you that if you are into erotica with a good storyline that will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat – this is it.

I cannot wait for The Invitation: Release which is the next book in the series. It’s scheduled for release in October. I have to find out what JJ will do once she knows who is behind the games. Plus, I want to read more of the sexiness going on with the characters.
