Adam, Enough Said by Lynda LeeAnne Book Review

Adam, Enough Said (This Can’t Be Happening) by Lynda LeeAnne

Author’s warning: Mature content, lots of cussing (as in, A LOT), a five-foot-three, redheaded, terror of a woman and a sexy, possessive, crazy, hot alpha cop.

Synopsis from Amazon

Our past was painful and a lot of mistakes were made, but that was then – this is now.
Mia wants a fight? I’ll give her one.
She wants to leave me? I’ll make her stay.
This is our future. She belongs to me.

Our past wasn’t just painful, it was soul-shattering, and no amount of time will change that.
Adam wants a fight? Bring it.
He won’t let me leave? I’ll make him pay.
This is my future. I don’t belong to him.

Follow Adam and Mia’s journey through the deliciously dysfunctional madness they like to call…marriage.

The author notes that this is the third book in the This Can’t be Happening Series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. Personally, I liked reading the other two books first as you get a glimpse of Adam before this book.

My Review of Adam, Enough Said by Lynda LeeAnne

Okay, I really liked Landyn in Lexi, Baby so I’ve been looking forward to seeing more of his brother, Adam. Lynda LeeAnne doesn’t disappoint with the third book in the This Can’t Be Happening series.

Adam, super hot, built, arrogant, alpha male with a love for the f* word. He uses it way too much, but really it suits him (really). If I met him on the street, and how I wish that would happen, I can definitely see him using that word in every other sentence – just to say hi. Anyway, I still love Adam, even though I wanted to strangle him during some of the scenes. He’s just a guy who would rather do what he wants, then ask for forgiveness. Honestly, he really doesn’t think before he acts.

I’ve got to say that I was on the edge of my seat for most of this journey. Adam and Mia are an awesome couple, when they aren’t apart and when they aren’t fighting. There are so many sparks between them, even in the beginning that I knew it was true love. They may have spent years apart, like the characters in the other This Can’t Be Happening Books, but the connection is still there if they would just give it a chance.

You actually get to read about the years that Mia and Adam were apart, and even get to read the beginning of their story. It is a touching, heartbreaking, loving story and it includes a drug lord, horrible ex, slutty cousin and of course a HOT police Sergeant (Adam). This is also a happily ever after, you know how I like those. 😉 Enjoy!
