Eden Summers created a fun read about a rock star and a woman just opening herself up to the world. The emotional connection between Mitch and Alana is wonderfully written and the sex, oh the sex scenes are super steamy.

Alana has been sheltered her entire life and her best friend, Kate has taken her to a Reckless Beat concert. She meets lead guitarist, Mitch after the concert and their story begins. They’re forced into a unique situation, but can this be more than a passing thing?

Such a great start to what should be a fun rock star series. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. Reckless Beat was well written, has a great rock star romance storyline with just enough angst. I’d like to see where their relationship goes, as well as I want to see more of the other members of Reckless Beat (Blake, anyone?).
