Excerpt from Broken Hart (Book 1)

The minutes passed in silence as he massaged and I tried desperately to keep my wits about me.  When he switched to my other foot, I really felt like I just might combust.  I needed him to stop, but no words were coming out of my mouth.

It was fast becoming a serious problem. The more he massaged, the more turned on I got and I had to bite my lip to keep from moaning.  With each passing second it was becoming a huge struggle to stay still.  I’ve never gotten so turned on so fast, and I could literally feel my panties getting wetter by the second.

The air in the room felt heavy, and it was almost a problem to remember to breathe in and out.  A flush of embarrassment washed over me when I realized that I wasn’t doing as good of a job as I normally do of keeping Dante in the dark about my lust for him. At this point I can only hope that he’s focused on my feet and can’t tell what’s happening with me.

Raising my eyes to him, I checked to see if he was noticing what was going on, only to find his eyes blazing back into mine.  The look he gave me was pure combustible heat, and it left me with absolutely no doubt that he felt it, too.

He shook his head as though he was trying to clear it, and returned to massaging as I slid my eyes closed and tried to process what the hell was happening, as well as my reaction to it.   When he rubbed the arch of my foot again, I couldn’t help it, and I moaned.  My eyes snapped open, and I prayed that maybe he hadn’t heard me.

His hand slid from the arch of my foot up to my left ankle as his other hand gripped my right ankle.  Using my ankles as leverage, he jerked me toward him. Clearly, he had heard me. I was trying to process all of that as he bent forward and kissed first one knee, then the other.

I took a shocked breath and my jaw dropped as I stared at the top of his head.  Raising his eyes to mine Dante asked, “Rina.  I want this.  Do you?”

The line was shockingly easy to cross.

Looking him straight in the eye I said, “Yes.  God, yes.”

 

Review of Broken Hart by Ella Fox (Book 1)

Dante & Sabrina

This is book one in the Hart Family series. Sabrina has been in love with Dante, her boss, and best friend for what feels like forever. Too bad Dante doesn’t believe in that little ‘ole thing called love. As we delve into Dante’s history you will understand why he feels that way.

Sabrina and her sister have only each other after a tragic accident ending their parents’ lives. Dante’s family history goes a little bit like this – he only loves his sisters, his brothers, his best friend, and his Aunt. See, he has always been the protector from the time he was just a boy, and his parents only cared about drugs and themselves.

Dante sets himself free from his family while still protecting the ones he loves. But, he distances himself from Sabrina. Ultimately, she helps him find himself and the love that he has built a self imposed castle of a heart concerning his commitment phobias.

I love the story that Ella Fox weaves of this family, its flaws, and how they stand up for one another. I’ve read the entire series and can’t wait to share each of the books with you. The first four books are also available in a Box Set.

Review of Shattered Hart by Ella Fox (Book 2)

Brooke Tyler and Damien Hart

In Broken Hart, we read about Dante and Sabrina. Now, we learn more about Brooke Tyler and Damien Hart (Sabrina’s sister and Dante’s brother)…oh, how the plot thickens.

We get introduced to more of the sisterly and brotherly bond. I love that we get Damien’s point of view. Personally, I love to be inside a man’s head to know what he’s thinking and feeling. This book has some pretty heavy emotions between the Damien and Brooke, but that just makes it even better.

Ella Fox continues The Hart Family Series with book 2, Shattered Hart. She gives us a more intimate view of the Hart family and their bonds. I love the story and can’t wait to tell you more about the rest of the series. It only gets better from here!

Spencer and Delilah

Oh, behold my heart, Spencer. He’s the best friend of the Hart family, including Delilah Hart. They’ve always had a special bond. Now it’s time for them to let their guard down and see into each others heart, body, and souls.

Spencer doesn’t feel worthy and he tries to push Delilah away. She is so devoted to him, she doesn’t ever stray. If you loved The Hart brothers you will definitely love Spencer. I know I’m in love with him.

Ella Fox keeps giving us the fun, sexy, intense, romantic, loving characters in the Hart Family Series. Not to say that there aren’t moments when I seriously wanted to throw my laptop across the room, but I can’t seem to put this series down.

I love her story telling ability and (like I’ve said before) the books just get better and better.

Review of Unbroken Hart by Ella Fox (Book 4)

Dante’s point of view…..say what!

A hot alpha male’s mind? Oh heck-to-the-yes! This book is a continuation of Sabrina’s and Dante’s story. It shows us more of his loving heart and his resistance to commitment.

When I first read the series this book wasn’t even food for thought, so it was a true surprise for Ms. Fox to come out with Unbroken Hart. Lets face it, he was the first Hart, and he really sets the pace. I really, truly like Dante. He’s hot, he’s alpha, he’s successful, and dang it if he doesn’t go after exactly what he wants.

This is the fourth book in The Hart Family Series and it is a short story of about 19,000 words. I just love that we finally see what was going on in Dante’s mind from the beginning.

Delicious! I just love this family. Don’t miss out on the Hart family. This is definitely a can’t-miss series.
