Illicit by BeBe Lennox Review

My Review of Illicit by BeBe Lennox

Ready for a book that will jolt your emotions? Well boy I got a wallop of big fat crocodile tears, and you know what it’s always those huge tears that make me always – and I do mean always – remember “that” book.

Katie receives a text, although its the wrong number, she and Danny continue to text. More or less Danny just keeps continuing to text her and pesters her to meet up and listen to his band. She goes to meet his band and is too afraid to actually meet him, so she sneaks into the venue to meet him while he’s not looking.

Danny’s is persistent and they finally meet and start to date. Then, BAM!, he needs a place to stay. So, she opens her home to him. Things get complicated, words get said, they break up, and he moves out. She goes home to Mom and Dad to clear her head and gets some really tough really emotional news. Now, get your tissues ready. Because you (I) did not see this coming!

I’m not going to give away any spoilers about the ending, but this is not a light, fluffy read. This is an emotional read that has some touching scenes.

This isn’t something that I normally read, but it was extremely well written and was extremely emotional. It does have some steamy sex scenes.
