Kaleidoscope by Kristen Ashley Review

My Review of Kaleidoscope by Kristen Ashley

This is the third Kristen Ashley book I’ve read, but the first of the Colorado Mountain series. Even though this book is the 6th in the series, I didn’t feel like I was missing anything by not reading the books in order. That was a definitely plus for me, because I hate getting lost because something happened and it isn’t explained.

The characters in Kaleidoscope are charming, sexy, and a bit romantic. Jacob Decker (Deck) is a super-alpha hottie with a genius mind and Emme is an independent woman not looking to fall head over heels with her ex-best friend’s, ex-boyfriend. You see where this is going?

I love the storyline because it has a bit of suspense, a ton of sexy men, and some female bonding. Can Emme shut off her mind long enough to follow her heart? Can Jacob show her true love with a happily ever after? There are tons of twists and turns because that’s what Kristen Ashley does, and she does it well. I’m going to go back now and read the rest of the Colorado Mountain series because I definitely want to meet a few of those other men. 😉

A romantic love story with a little suspense, a bit of deception, and tons of steamy sex scenes. Kaleidoscope is another winner for author Kristen Ashley.

About the Author

Kristen Ashley grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana, and has lived in Denver, Colorado, and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.

Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multigenerational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland, and Kristen grew up listening to the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon, and Whitesnake. Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music and love was a good way to grow up.  And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.
