My Review
Okay, just let me start by saying that it took me a while to get through this book. The reason being that the heroine of our story, Maya, is totally hot and cold. She drives me freaking bananas. But I stayed with it because Cameron deserves a happily ever after.
You read the blurb, you know that there weren’t hearts and flowers waiting at the end of the marriage proposal five years ago. But, Maya and Cameron get a second chance at love and a second chance to have a happy ending. If only Maya would get on board!! She is one step forward, six giant leaps back the whole time. I was really, truly pulling for Cameron to knock some sense into her.
Just when we think Yay! Happy! – wipe the damn smile off your face. There’s another wrench in the hearts and flowers plan. But, with all the emotions running through the book I stuck with it and finally got to the happy ending.
This is the first Meredith Wild book that I’ve read and I will be sitting down to read more in the near future. I just hope I don’t want to slap the next heroine as much as this one. 😉
