My Review of Knight & Play (Book 1)
Before I even get down to the review, I have to tell you this is total alpha smut. I mean that in nothing but a good way. 😉 Dirty talk and a sex toy mogul. What’s not to love?
Lucien Knight is the ultimate bad boy billionaire with the looks of a Viking god. Sophia is looking for a new job and has a cheating husband. Somehow all of these components work together to bring us a quick read that is totally HOT! Absolutely smoldering hot!!
I’ll let you know that I was conflicted throughout the entire book because how far will you go if you find out your husband is cheating? Is your conscience absolved with tit for tat (so to speak)? Either way, just know that this was a huge emotional rollercoaster read for me and some super hot sex.
There is a HUGE cliffhanger at the end of Book 1, but since the series is already out that shouldn’t be a problem. Once you finish Knight & Play, head right in to Knight & Stay.

“You didn’t come to work on Monday.”
Sophie placed the mugs on the table and sat down opposite Lucien.
“Did you seriously expect me to?”
He lifted one shoulder, as if bemused she even needed to ask. “Yes.”
She shook her head. He couldn’t be serious. “You hit my husband.”
“Do you expect me to apologise? He deserved it.” Lucien worked hard to maintain his casual bearing but the expression in his eyes went from cool to lava hot, leaving Sophie well aware of how on edge he was.
“You had no right.” Sophie’s fingernails bit into her palms as her fists tightened. “I wanted to do things my way. You took away my choices.”
She watched him digest her words and for the briefest moment, saw uncertainty flicker in his eyes.
“Choices?” He leaned forward and drummed his fingers on the table. “Way I see it, you didn’t have any choices to make, Sophie. Your husband’s a lowlife, you needed rid of him.”
Sophie mirrored his rigid stance across the table. “And there you go again, making my decisions for me.”
A pulse flickered along the hard set of his clenched jaw.
“I thought you’d make the wrong one.”
“So you made it for me.”
He leaned back, folding his arms defiantly across his chest.

“Men never are.” Sophie regretted the cheap generalisation the moment it left her lips, but the last few days had left her more than a little jaded.
“I’m not like him, Sophie.” Lucien’s words were spoken so softly that Sophie only just caught them.
“No. No, you’re not like him,” she spat. “You’re your very own brand of fucked up, Lucien.”
My Review of Knight & Stay (Book 2)
Okay, so we had a cliffhanger at the end of Knight & Play (Book 1) so I had to jump right in to Knight & Stay just to find out what happened.
Some of the angst I had from the first book because of the marriage issues, were taken care of in book two. Now, we just needed to find a happily ever after for Lucien and Sophia. It takes a while to get there and a huge emotional roller coaster, but happiness prevails. Thank goodness!
Of course, during the roller coaster there are some amazing love scenes throughout the book. Although, the further along in the book the more intense and emotional the sex becomes.
This is a book that just draws you in from the first paragraph and doesn’t let go. This is a complete story with a happily ever after, but the story isn’t completely over so don’t miss Knight & Day.

My Review
We followed the story of Lucien and Sophia during Knight & Play and Knight & Stay, but the story isn’t over and continues in Knight & Day (Book 3). This book introduces us to Dylan Day, hence the title Knight & Day.
If you thought that Lucien was a Viking, just wait until you meet California guy Dylan Day. Sexy as sin and oh so hot in bed! Lucien and Sophia’s story comes to a very happy conclusion in this story, but there is a twist with the inclusion of Dylan as well as Sophia’s best friend, Kara.
Dylan and Kara are such a great couple and have such a fun relationship, but there is a huge twist that could change everything.
As with the other two books, Knight & Day contains some super sexy love scenes and keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting to see what happens. Don’t miss this super fun and sexy series.
