Maid to Fit by Rebecca M. Avery (Man Maid, Book 1)

Maid to Fit is one of the four books in the Contemporary Romance Box Set and was the first one that I read. I’m so glad I did. It is now on my go-to ‘beach reads’ list. Not too heavy, perfect amount of angst, and some seriously hot sex.

This is the first book of the Man Maid series and centers around former Army hunks. 😉 The group of hunks decides to start a cleaning service business and life gets interesting for one of the men.

The first book ultimately is about Sergeant First Class Ronald “Ronnie” Brown and single mom, Kayla Clark. Kayla is raising her teen-aged daughter on her own, and has been for quite a while. Her mother is also in a nursing home and her time is spread way to thin. Thinking that it’s a good idea to hire a professional cleaning service to help pick up her house, she meets sexy Ronnie.

Can Kayla and Ronnie find happiness? The attraction is undeniable, but Kayla doesn’t want to rock the boat with her daughter. Can you find love when you have a teenager around? Ronnie has his own secrets, but really they aren’t bad secrets. He definitely makes it on my sweet Book Boyfriends list.

Ms. Avery creates characters that I found hard to put down. I read it from start to finish in just a few hours. It is a complete novel and has a very happy happily ever after. This is a fun read with a few heavy moments, but family wins out in the end. I love this story and cannot wait to see more of the Man Maid men, especially Ian and Seth.
