Manwhore by Katy Evans
Book 1, Manwhore Series
Release Date: March 24, 2015
Synopsis
Is it possible to expose Chicago’s hottest player–without getting played?
This is the story I’ve been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don’t be fooled by that last name though. There’s nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he’s a man’s man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.
Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he’s been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that’s where I come in.
Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I’m determined to make him the story that will change my career.
But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I’m the one discovering him…or if he’s uncovering me.
What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?
My Review of Manwhore by Katy Evans
I received a paper ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are completely my own.
Do you know what it’s like to try and hide the title of the book you’re reading while on an airplane? Yeah, there’s that. One more plus for my Kindle! Rather than explain to my mother-in-law why I was engrossed in reading a book called Manwhore. But, I digress. This book is freaking awesome. Kept my attention, even when I was hiding the cover from others.
Malcolm Saint is a total bad boy with a past as a well-known player. Albeit a mega-rich, super-sexy, fine-as-sin bad boy. Rachel is a reporter looking for her big break in the business, but how far is she willing to go. I went back and forth with Rachel’s character because she was hiding this huge secret, but kept going back and forth with how much she was going to let herself feel vs. how much she was going to keep her distance. I just wanted to tell her to get out of her own head and feel with her heart.
Malcolm is the character that kept me on my toes and wanting more. Malcolm may have been a player before Manwhore, but he is absolutely swoon-worthy in this book. I read it on my flight, in my hotel, and in the car. I couldn’t put it down. I cannot wait for Manwhore+1 to come out on July 7th.
Katy Evans does it again with this new series. The real series had me falling in love with Remy, while Manwhore gives us a new book boyfriend that tops all the rest.
