Must Love Cowboys by Cheryl Brooks
Shy computer specialist and amateur chef Tina Hayes travels to Circle Bar K ranch to scatter her father’s ashes in the Tetons of Wyoming. Once there, her father’s old army buddy and his cast of cowboy ranch hands persuade her to stay on as the ranch’s cook for a while. It’s not a hard decision, especially when she meets Wyatt McCabe, a man who makes her heart gallop like no one else. But with so many cowboys to choose from, can Wyatt show Tina that he’s the only one for her?
My Review of Must Love Cowboys by Cheryl Brooks
At first glance, I was thinking cowboys + single girl = fun romance. While there were moments of lightheartedness, I found more moments of cheesy phrases and a protagonist that was torn between which man she wanted. I thought that the pace in which she made her decision was just altogether too slow.
While I understood that she had lost her grandfather and was dealing with his loss, then being thrown together with these cowboys, I still wanted her to take some control of her feelings. Maybe it’s just me, but follow your gut and just stick with it.
Must Love Cowboys does have one thing going for it. Wyatt. I really enjoyed his character and how he handled himself. If you can overlook phrases like “sipping the salty nectar flowing from his slit,” then I think you might enjoy this one.
