My Review
Nico is another steamy romance from Sarah Castille and she’s taking on the Mafia story line. I know a few authors have taken on this genre, but I have to say that I was happily surprised at how much I enjoyed this book and her take on the Mafia story.
While not entirely dark, it has dark elements of the Mafia world, but there are quite a few lighter moments. I really liked Mia’s sense of humor and sarcasm, in the face of the danger surrounding her. Nico and Mia’s interactions are what draw you into and keep you inside the story. Their dialogue and banter make this a must-read.
Sarah Castille has created multi-dimensional characters that leap off the page and right into your heart. Nico has more than one layer and it takes a while to get to the Nico that we can fall in love with, but that journey is worth it. Secondary characters are also given dimension and make for an intriguing novel.
Engaging story line and well-written characters make Nico a great weekend read.
