My Review of Resist by Missy Johnson
Wow. What a great way to begin a new serial. Missy Johnson lays the groundwork for the setup of this twisty series by giving us two characters that are both interesting and intriguing. Charlotte answers Jaxon’s ad and has no clue what she’s in for. Jaxon is fighting some huge freaking demons and I love watching how he tries to tame those demons.
Jax is sexy, strong, and mysterious, but can Charlotte be what he wants her to be? He knows what he wants but can she lose herself? Answers! I want freaking answers. That ending. Holy crap. Be aware that there is strong language, intense sex scenes, and lots of secrets. All of it worth the ride that Missy Johnson takes us on with Resist. I cannot wait for
I’ll give you this. It’s short, it’s not so sweet, and it gets your mind away from real life for a bit. Hot, twisty, and seductive.
