My Review

This is the book, I swear I have been waiting for since the very freaking beginning. It’s Lily and Shade’s story. Let me tell you, I do understand it is a $4.99 book and I usually never read a book that expensive. I can say this – when I start reading it at 9 pm and don’t finish until 4 am – you bet your ass it’s a freaking phenomenal book. My stomach dropped a couple of times for Lily, and bless Shade’s heart because he has the patience of a saint.

Lily, sweet lily. She’s damaged beyond repair or so some people think. But not Shade. He see’s her as his and only his. Sure he has screwed around in the past, ever since last summer when Lily’s life was almost taken from him. He’s vowed to finally make her HIS. And he does.

Lily knows something is wrong with her. She knows that she has a past. Trying to keep that door shut on all those memories, and having the flashbacks is pulling her apart. She feels like she’s holding back her sister, and making her choose between the club and her.

After Lily realizes Beth and Shade have held the truth away from her. She does the one thing she knows how to do. RUN…she goes back to college and is so depressed at having no one there and realizing she’s losing the only family she has is hard. Of course, Lily doesn’t forget and forgive easily.

Thank goodness for Shade because seriously he makes her see what’s in front of her and what’s beside her HIM. He become her knight and shining armor, her therapist, and eventually her everything. Never realizing her cowboy can come in any form. Especially a former SEAL sniper.

Her past meets with her future, and Shade is there for her every step of the way. This book has so many loops and turns. When you think it’s going in one direction it curves to the right. I absolutely LOVED this book, and I will be re-reading the whole series this summer!

Author Bio

“I was born in a small town in Kentucky. My family began poor, but worked their way to owning a restaurant. My mother was one of the best cooks I have ever known, and she instilled in all her children the value of hard work, and education.

Taking after my mother, I’ve always love to cook, and became pretty good if I do say so myself. I love to experiment and my unfortunate family has suffered through many. They now have learned to steer clear of those dishes. I absolutely love the holidays and my family puts up with my zany decorations.

For now, my days are spent writing, writing, and writing. I have two children who both graduate this year from college. My daughter does my book covers, and my son just tries not to blush when someone asks him about my books.

Currently I am writing four series of books- The Last Riders, The Dark Souls, The VIP Room, and Biker Bitches series. My favorite book I have written is Soul Of A Woman, which I am hoping to release during the summer of 2014. It took me two years to write, during which I lost my mother, and brother. It’s a book that I truly feel captures the true depths of love a woman can hold for a man. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I am an emotional writer who wants the readers to feel the emotion of the characters they are reading. Because of this, Teased is probably the hardest thing I have written.

All my books are written for one purpose- the enjoyment others find in them, and the expectations of my fans that inspire me to give it my best. In the near future I hope to take a weekend break and visit Vegas that will hopefully be this summer. Right now I am typing away on my next story and looking forward to traveling this summer!”
