You know there are bound to be some complications when a rough and tumble ex-Navy SEAL comes falling into Maggie Lawson’s life since she is a HUGE germaphobe. Taking sani-wipes everywhere and trying to keep things sanitized. There are some cute scenes because she’s a little obsessed with her cleanliness and let’s just say that Gabe wasn’t the cleanest person when they met.
Gabe, oh, Gabe is a cutie. Underneath all his harsh exterior (you’ll read all about it) he really is a sweetheart. Somewhere, down deep. Way down deep. 😉
This is a sweet romance and love is found after they are thrown into an unfortunate situation. Will they work together to get the answers that Gabe is searching for and who can they trust. This is a suspenseful mystery with a touch of steamy romance. Lisa Eugene keeps you on the edge of your chair wondering what is going to happen next.
Of course, comic relief can be found in both Gabe’s alpha tendencies and Maggie’s friend David’s clothing issues. This is a complete story with a happily ever after.
