Synopsis

My Review
That jacket. That shirt. They did nothing to disguise the man that lay beneath, a man made for a singular purpose: breaking my heart apart piece by piece.
Grayson and Cammie have that energy that radiates off the pages. It’s a ‘should I?/do I want to?/can I just ignore this?’ situation. Grayson has been her older sister’s friend for years, but what happens when Cammie gets a job at Grayson’s firm? Ah, that’s when the push and pull fun starts.
R.S. Grey leads us down a slippery slope of crush vs. love, right vs. wrong, and leads her characters to push their moral limits. How far is too far to prove you’ve got talent and will it cost our hero and heroine their happily ever after? I’m not telling. What I will tell you is that The Design by R.S. Grey is filled with a feisty woman, a really obnoxious roommate, and a sexy as sin boss.
Cammie is fun, flirty, and doesn’t always follow the rules. Grayson is strong, a little dirty, and all man.
I will tell you that Cammie made me cringe a few times with her train of thought, but in the overall picture I think she’s a well written character, with a good sense of humor. Oh, and she has her sister, Brooklyn, who is an awesome character. We met Brooklyn and her man, Jason, in The Duet. No worries if you haven’t read it yet, The Design can be read as a standalone.
So grab a beach chair and settle in with Grayson, Cammie, and find out if they can find their happily ever after. he Design makes for a great Sunday afternoon read, with a little angst, a smartmouth heroine, and a trip to Paris.

I paused just outside of the front doors and took a deep breath, trying to get my bearings. I was twenty minutes early for my interview. My outfit was still wrinkle-free. My pad-folio was filled with extra copies of my resume and reference letters, and I’d rehearsed every possible question that Grayson Cole would ask:
Greatest weakness? My inability to settle for anything less than what I deserve. I’m stubborn and persistent.
The honest answer? My inability to overcome my schoolgirl crush on you even though you’re a self-righteous ass.
I would NOT be giving him the honest answer.
