Synopsis
I was happy in my small town. In my life as a single, thirty-two year old woman. I had a good job, wonderful friends, my independence. I also hadn’t got laid in three years. Hadn’t been on a date in two. Had stopped counting calories and wearing makeup… a while ago. Then Brett Jacobs waltzed in. Caressed my thigh, dug rough fingers into my hair, lowered his soft mouth to my skin, took sexual control of my mind and stirred it all around with what he packed in his pants. He flipped my quiet life upside down and crawled into a place in my heart I thought was dead. The issue is his secret. The issue is her. The issue is that I don’t even know she exists, and he thinks she’s dead. The issue is that shit is about to hit the fan and I can’t hold on to him tight enough.
My Review of Tight by Alessandra Torre
I didn’t know how to go back. Didn’t know how to break off this piece of my soul and give her back. Didn’t know how to shift through the lies and tell her the truth. Didn’t know how to be the man she deserved without losing sight of my goal.
Erotic. Suspenseful. With a bit of holyshitdidthatreallyjusthappen.
I first read about Riley and Brett in a novella in the now-banned BEND anthology. But, no worries if you haven’t read it because Alessandra scrapped that novella and gave us this delicious full length novel. And what a story it is. Alessandra gave me so many feels with this book. From the heat to the smiles to the tears to whatthehelljusthappened, she has given us an incredible story of survival, love, and hope.
What a fantastic journey. There were moments that I found myself having to remember to breathe because my heart was beating so freaking fast. You know those books that you’re torn between turning the page and not really wanting to see what happens next? Yeah, there were a few instances where I was reading and thought I knew what was going to happen, but was afraid of actually reading the words. I physically had to put my Kindle down at one point because I couldn’t breathe. I didn’t feel like my heart could take it, but I pushed through and it was so freaking worth it. Seriously, Tight is an AMAZING read. Romance, lies, heartbreak, and a broken hero.
Riley is a girl from a little country town, where her dad is the sheriff. Brett is this mega rich guy from Ft. Lauderdale. Together they are combustible. The chemistry and attraction is always present and it is HOT! Once again, Alessendra gives us an intriguing story that keeps you on the edge of your seat, but never pushes you over. Tight is a contemporary erotic romance with suspense and sometimes pushes boundaries, but OMG what an awesome ride.
I’m not going to give you any of the plot because Alessandra has so many twists and turns that it will keep you on your toes. Be sure when you open your Kindle that you are by yourself because Tight gets super steamy and you won’t want to be disturbed. π
