Up to Me by M. Leighton
Book Synopsis from Amazon
For Olivia, romantic bliss has never felt so right as it does with Cash. Unpredictable, except when it comes to satisfying her desires, Cash’s ‘bad boy’ reputation is well-earned, but he’s turning his life around with the one woman who accepts him for who he is.
Until strangers from the past turn Olivia and Cash’s world upside down. What they want is something only Cash can give them. And if he doesn’t deliver, then they’re taking the one thing that Cash values the most.
Olivia always knew that in falling for Cash she was likely to get burned. But this new threat is beyond anything she imagined. Now she has to trust Cash with her life—and for Olivia that’s much easier than letting go, and trusting him with her heart.
Includes a teaser from The Wild Ones
My Review of Up to Me by M. Leighton
Once I finished Down to You, I knew I had to buy Up to Me so that I could find out what happened next. I love the story between Olivia and Cash and they have such an intense relationship. Up to Me is more of a “between” book if you ask me.
There is a ton of information that comes out about Cash and his life and a lot of action scenes, with not as many intimate scenes. I’ve put the third book Everything for Us on my to-be-read list, but it doesn’t come out until September 3, 2013.
Don’t get me wrong, the love scenes are hot but there aren’t as many in this one as there were in the first book. This book gives us insight as to what exactly makes Cash tick and why he is the way he is. I’d like to see more of Cash’s friend, Gavin. Yum! We also get a glimpse of Olivia’s past and why her mother isn’t really in the picture.
Up to Me is a well written book with a lot of action, romance and suspense. Cash is a good-guy “bad boy” and is hot as heck. Definitely one of my top 10 BBFs. 😉
If you liked Down to You, don’t miss Up to Me and be sure to get Everything for Us when it comes out.
