Wicked Beat by Olivia Cunning

Synopsis from Goodreads

From the moment he lays eyes on Sinners’ new front of house soundboard operator, drummer Eric Sticks knows he has to make Rebekah his. Unfortunately, she’s too busy trying to seduce guitarist Trey Mills to pay him much attention. Rebekah never planned to fall for the tall, goofy drummer with the weird sense of humor and a heart the size of the galaxy. But Eric makes her laugh and his constant attention makes her feel sexy and irresistible–exactly what she needs after the things her last lover said to her. A woman who gives as much as she takes, Rebekah makes Eric feel like a total stud–exactly what he needs after surviving a decade of watching the incredibly talented members of Sinners from the wings.

My Review of Wicked Beat

Oh dear! This is a super steamy, deliciously hot read. This is a book that you want to read when you cannot get interrupted, so get comfy and have some alone time with Eric and Rebekah. Wicked Beat by Olivia Cunning is an erotic romance, but has some gentle love with a mix of humor thrown in for good measure.

I had to take a break from the book to make dinner, but let me tell you I did not want to stop reading. Both Eric and Rebekah have both physical and emotional issues to work through, but together they make it work. I rooted for them the entire time – and the sex, holy – the sex was hot and sometimes a little humorous (think dressing up and role play).

Eric is the sexy drummer for The Sinners and Rebekah finds herself working on the road with the band. Lots of characters in this book stand out, Eric being my favorite. Trey is the hot lead singer and he actually surprised me with his actions throughout the book, sometimes pleasantly surprised, but you’ll need to read the book to find out why. 😉

If you have a few hours free grab a snack, go to a quiet spot and fall in love with these characters. They are so well written that the book will keep you hooked until the very end.

  1. I LOVED this book. It was just dirty, hot, and raunchy enough to satisfy my craving but the romance and the humor balanced it out perfectly! This was my first Oliva Cunning book, I so need to read the rest of the Sinners on Tour series now that I know what to expect!

    1. OMG! Yes! I think I may have even blushed during some of the sex scenes it got so hot! I’m definitely going to be reading more Olivia Cunning. 🙂
