Wicked Innocence by Missy Johnson Review
The fact that I could barely think about anything but her told me I was falling hard. It was a feeling I wasn’t used to. Saxon Waite didn’t do love and romance. At least I hadn’t until her.
If you’re looking for a great way to lose yourself for a few hours in a new book, Wicked Innocence by Missy Johnson is the way to go. I don’t usually read books that have minors in them, as I just can’t get interested in them. This book has a huge twist and that is what makes it a must read.
Michah is our 17 year old heroine, she has been through hell and back. She finally gets a big break, but will her lies keep her from her dream? Then there’s Rock God Saxon Waite. Oh, *insert swoon here*.
This is where things get convoluted. She lands her dream job, Sax is the manager…she’s underage…he doesn’t know…hot steamy romance ensues.
I know she’s underage, you know she’s underage…but there’s a freaking good reason that she keeps the truth from everyone. Is it enough to overlook the fact that she’s actually underage? Personally, I think so. The story brings a different approach to the young woman/older man scenario and I think Missy Johnson nailed it.
Well written with a perfect pace to keep the story flowing, Wicked Innocence is a stand out book. Did I mention Rock God Saxon? Yeah, you want to read this one.
