My Review of Without Boundaries by CJ Azevedo (The Without Series)

This is the first book that I’ve read from CJ Azevedo and I really enjoyed her writing style. It was fresh and her characters were ones that I wanted to read about.

Bailey is a young woman in a difficult situation, but honestly I would go back and forth on actually agreeing with her. I understood what her issues were but I didn’t understand why she walled herself off and ignored things/people that could actually help. There were moments that I wanted to knock some sense into her, but alas probably not my best idea. 😉 And then there’s Talon. Talon is the perfect hero, really. He’s stable, sexy, loves the heroine and is beyond patient. Let me say that again. He’s.Beyond.Patient. There.

The secondary characters were an important part of Baily and Talon’s story. I may love Declan, but I’ll know for sure after I read his story in Without Doubt. Bailey’s friends from back home reminded me of some of the guys I used to hang out with in high school. A little redneck, a little fun, a lot protective.

Once Bailey got on board with plan, I really enjoyed the book. I’m starting the Without Doubt now and I’ll let you know what I think. All in all, Without Boundaries was a solid start to this series.
