The Consequence of Seduction by Rachel Van Dyken
Release Date: February 9, 2016
Blurb
Reid Emory has never had reason to question his luck with the ladies. As the owner of a lethal set of aqua-blue eyes and a devastating grin, this Hollywood heartthrob always brings his A game…but lately his luck seems to have run out. The actor is in need of some help, and there’s only one person he can trust to take his love life—and his career—to an explosive new level.
Jordan Litwright’s newest client is trying her patience. As a publicist, she’s more than content to stay in the background and let others shine. But when a publicity stunt backfires, she suddenly finds herself thrust into the spotlight—as Reid’s new love interest. And while other men usually overlook her, Reid is focusing in with laserlike intensity. There’s no denying they have serious chemistry.
But once Reid breaks into the big time, can they turn their made-for-the-media romance into a forever love?
My Review
The Consequence of Seduction by Rachel Van Dyken features fun characters, witty comebacks, and a head of hair that has a mind of its own. RVD knows how to get me kicked out of bed because when I start reading I can’t help but laugh loudly, then my husband wakes up and sends me to the living room. True story.
The Consequence of Seduction can be read as a stand-alone, but is the third book in this series. Each is a stand-alone about a different friend (or brother) in this close circle. The Consequence of Loving Colton (Book 1) made it on my Top 10 Romance Reads of 2015 list and I can see that The Consequence of Seduction is already climbing to the top of my 2016 list because it really is just a fun book with just a bit of angst.
Reid Emory is sexy, cocky, and has some messed up mojo. We’ll just blame it on his luck with the older ladies (*cough*). That is until his new PR rep, Jordan Litwright steps into the picture. Okay, maybe not the first time she steps into the picture, but you’ll see. RVD has done it again with a laugh-out-loud story of life, love, and possible romance. Max most definitely has a hand in his brother’s life, and Colton is there for the journey as well. Love this cast of characters and the antics that RVD has created in Reid and Jordan’s little world.
Quirky and lovable, both Jordan and Emory have found their way into my heart. If you’re looking for a sweet and funny romance, look no further. Rachel Van Dyken has knocked it out of the park, again!
