It’s that time again! I get to let y’all know which reads were my favorite of the year. I have to say that it has been tough narrowing it down because I have read a ton of great romance books in 2015.
UPDATE 12/18: Seriously, y’all. I finished this book last night and I’m wrecked. It was spectacular. I’m working on a review now, but you do not want to miss Three, Two, One (321) by J.A. Huss.
In no particular order, my top 10 romance reads of 2015 are:
Hollywood Dirt by Alessandra Torre
Hollywood Dirt by Alessandra Torre is a down home, kiddie pool wading, knock it out of the park romance.
A Lover’s Lament by K.L. Grayson and B.T. Urruela
A Lover’s Lament is what I’d call an EPIC romance.
Truth or Beard by Penny Reid
Those Winston boys have something special and oh, boy! Penny Reid’s writing is absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
Shuttergirl by CD Reiss
I found myself spellbound by this contemporary romance by CD Reiss. It was as if it didn’t matter what else needed to be done, I needed to keep reading.
Beat by Vi Keeland
A little bit fun, a lot of sexy, and a ton of secrets surround this cast of characters.
The Hooker and the Hermit by L.H. Cosway & Penny Reid
Sweet, funny, romantic, and witty. Also not to be missed, The Hooker and the Hermit makes great use of the work f*ck.
The Consequence of Loving Colton by Rachel Van Dyken
What a wonderful way to spend an evening. With a lovable, witty, freaking hilarious cast of characters.
TIGHT by Alessandra Torre
Erotic. Suspenseful. With a bit of holyshitdidthatreallyjusthappen.
CARTEL by Lili St. Germain
Lili St. Germain introduces us to Mariana’s world and how she becomes Emilio’s property. She gives us a no-hold-barred, graphic depiction of the Cartel and the Gypsy Brothers MC.
TANK by Carmen Jenner
I don’t even know where to start. So, how about the truth. The truth is I had to put this book down for three days, walk away, and process what I read. Gut-wrenching, heart-stopping, big-tear-crying words that knock you for a freaking loop. Take Carmen’s warning very, very seriously. If there is a book that has a trigger, this is that book.
I know that I’ve read a lot of books this year and I loved quite a few, but these were the books that stood out to me for one reason or another. They are all books that I would read more than once and that stuck with me.
Which books were your favorites for 2015?
