My Review of Cole by J.B. Hartnett

Most sequels from a continuing book have a Happily Ever After…like bam, right in the first few pages. Not this book, oh no. First Cole has to save his wonderful girlfriend, Anika (Inky) because her past just blew right the eff up in her face. She’s constantly looking over her shoulder and the one time she let’s her guard down, the one time that it should be the happiest moment of her life becomes one of the most terrifying days.

This book focuses on Cole and Inky’s point of view, and boy do I love it! He shows her in the most meaningful way what love truly is. He breaks the past’s spell and helps himself and Anika come full circle in their relationship.

Yes, this book has HEA, but there are more books in the series. Of course, that makes me jump for joy! Ms. Hartnett’s writing style and her editing go hand in hand and everything flows very smoothly.
