My Review

I was hooked from the first chapter. It’s not a long read and it is definitely hard to put down.

Debut author Callie Hart has created a Dark, Dark read. Part of me wants to love Zeth (sexy, tattooed, dominant) and part of me wants to be scared of him (the ‘did he really just do that’ part). Sloan is missing a part of herself. That part that she gave a stranger years ago and after a chance encounter, she may be able to find it. Not without some sacrifice (and pleasure). Does she have what it takes to find the answers she’s looking for? Oh! You have, have, have to read Deviant.

What would you do for your sister, the sister you’ve known and loved all your life suddenly disappears without a trace. Sloane is currently studying to be a doctor and has a private investigator trying to find her sister. She makes a deal with her Private Investigator, a deal she has no problem making if it means finding Alexis. The deal? Have a rendezvous with an unknown man. The one man that she will remember as the years move on.

Two years later and a hospital visit for his friend, she hears his voice and suddenly her mind is filled with memories. The delicious way he set her body on fire, and brought out her true desires. The only part is she doesn’t know his name.

After his friend (the one who’s in the hospital) slips up and tells Sloane the mystery man’s name. A name, with the voice, and touch her body has been craving is Zeth. Will Zeth finally come to terms that he needs Sloane more than he wants to acknowledge and will his past help Sloane find her sister.

Have I told you I love, love, love dark reads?!?! Well, I do and this year, as well as last year have been stellar for them! Ms. Hart’s debut book is rock solid, steady, a you have to read it now book, and I mean right NOW… Deviant is her first book is a series, and yes there is a cliffhanger. It leaves you wanting more and more, but knowing this is a series makes it all worth it.
